Mallorca forward Lago Junior proposes to girlfriend on make-shift pitch while in quarantine

Mallorca footballer Lago Junior has proposed to his girlfriend  in quarantine after his original plan was changed due to coronavirus.

Football in Spain has been suspended and the country has enforced a lockdown, so Junior and his family are in self-isolation.

The forward created a make-shift pitch at their home and got down on one knee to Fabiola Parralo Maciasin in front of their daughter Aylen.

Junior shared the news on Instagram, captioning his post: “Well, my love, I had a different plan with family, friends and others but the circumstances have forced me to change the place and the company.

“We have been through a lot together. We have lived through a lot of bad moments but we’ve known how to change that pain and suffering into marvellous moments, laughs, trips, meals and a life together how we wanted.

“I knew this time would arrive at one point in my life. I knew it would be you since the moment I saw you with that precious smile.

“I knew one day I would be in front of you with my knee on the ground taking a ring out of pocket to ask you to MARRY ME... To ask you to accompany me for the rest of my life.

“I am making it a reality because it is what I want with you, to spend each and every single one of my days next to you and next to our daughter. I love you, my love.”

Junior has played for Mallorca since 2016 after second-division side CD Mirandes sold him for a reported £270,000.
