Taylor Swift has said her first time playing in Wales was “out of control in the best way” after she dazzled crowds in Cardiff with her record-breaking Eras Tour.
The US superstar performed hits from across her back catalogue and spoke Welsh to thousands of adoring fans at the Principality Stadium.
Swift will kick off her London residency at Wembley Stadium from Friday – the first of eight shows across June and August.
The singer shared a series of images to Instagram of her performing in a variety of elegant and glitzy outfits while in Cardiff on Tuesday night.
Alongside the post, she wrote: “Cardiff!! My first time playing in Wales and that was truly out of control in the best way – looking out into that massive, bouncing, dancing sea of people.
“I’ll never forget it. I’m absolutely living for these UK crowds.
“Next up: our weekend at Wembley!! See you tomorrow London!”
Swift kicked off her performance in Wales with a number of hit songs before having a go at speaking the language.
“Shwmae,” Swift told the crowd in videos circulating on social media, which means “hello”.
“Croeso i daith Eras,” she added, which means “Welcome to the Eras Tour”.
Swift kicked off the UK leg of her mammoth, billion-dollar Eras Tour earlier this month at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh with three dazzling shows, before playing three back-to-back gigs at Liverpool’s Anfield.
On her first night in Liverpool she celebrated the 100th show of the tour, while confirming it will come to an end in December.
Swift is set to perform three sold-out shows from Friday to Sunday at Wembley before she returns for five dates in August to end the UK and European stint of the tour.
Her fans are expected to boost the London economy by £300 million when they descend on the capital, according to a report shared by the Greater London Authority.
London is hosting more Eras Tour shows than any other city in the world, with around 640,000 people expected to attend across the eight dates.
To celebrate her arrival in the capital, murals, a special Tube map, a Taylor trail and a series of events have been created to entertain the Swifties.
