Five-time Grand Slam champion Maria Sharapova attended designer Vera Wang's show at New York Fashion Week yesterday.

The ace was pictured in a black suit alongside Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

The shot emerged just days after Sharapova attended the Vanity Fair Oscars after party with boyfriend and businessman Alexander Gilkes.

Away from her showbiz ventures, Sharapova has failed to get her 2020 campaign off to a positive start.

After being handed a wildcard to compete at the Australian Open, she was knocked out in the first round by Donna Vekic.

She has not confirmed when she is next due to take to the court.
