Paddy McGuinness set to be the face of new BBC music show, I Can See Your Voice

Top Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness is set to be the face of a new BBC show I Can See Your Voice.

The programme, seen as a rival to ITV’s The Masked Singer, will see contestants aiming to win a cash prize by guessing who can and can't sing from a group of mystery singers standing before them.

A panel of celebrity experts will be joined each week by a guest singer to help out.

McGuinness said: "A show like this doesn’t come along very often. It’s bonkers, silly and the ultimate family night in.

“Everyone can play along at home and I am looking forward to welcoming the good and the bad to our stage. Here’s to making it the one to watch in 2021.”

McGuinness will be taking on the show alongside his other work for the channel. He already presents Top Gear, game show Catchpoint and will be the face of the rebranded version of Total Wipeout with Freddie Flintoff.

Before making the move to the BBC, McGuinness was a familiar face on ITV, where he hosted Take Me Out, a popular dating show which ran for 11 seasons.
