Transport for Wales (TfW) has announced a 12-month delay to the new hourly service between Liverpool and Llandudno due to COVID-19 impacts. Originally scheduled for December 2022, the service now targets a December 2023 start. Despite pandemic-induced interruptions to crew training and supply chains, TfW vows to deliver additional services promised in 2018, adding over 60 new services to the weekday timetable in the forthcoming years.
