Supermarket shelves may have run out of them - but the humble toilet roll is taking centre stage in a new challenge that has gone viral during the coronavirus outbreak.

And professional female footballers from the around the world are queuing up to take each other on in the ultimate 'keepy uppy' contest.

Several stars have uploaded videos of their attempts on social media under the #StayAtHomeChallenge, as many look to lift their spirits while in self-isolation.

The idea is for athletes to try and do ten kick-ups using a toilet roll instead of a football.

Manchester City's Lauren Hemp and Esme Morgan showed off their skills in the kitchen.

Finnish and Chelsea striker Adelina Engman gave it her best shot.

And French and Lyon attacker Eugenie Le Sommer shared her skills.

Birmingham City's Connie Scofield showed her control whilst just missing out on hitting the camera with her final shot.

And Arsenal's Lia Walti clearly didn't get the email and chose to juggle three toilet rolls instead.

Last but not least, freestyle footballer Liv Cooke stole the show!
