Welcome back to the Women’s Super League!

Arsenal will face Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby kicking off at 2.30pm.

Both teams have just released their starting squad so stay tuned for updates!

Arsenal starting squad

Joe Montemurro has had an injury headache this week in selection as stars such as Jordan Nobbs and Jill Roord are injured.

However, he still has a lot of stars in his starting 11 as Leah Williamson and Katie McCabe feature for the Gunners.

Spurs announce squad

Many fans would be hoping to see Alex Morgan in today’s starting squad but she tweeted she has had a setback and so won’t make her debut today.

Instead Karen Hills and Juan Amoros have selected Ashley Neville, Alanna Kennedy and Shelina Zadorsky in their starting 11.

Previous north London derby record

There has only been one other north London derby in the WSL which Arsenal won at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium last November.

That day they recorded a 2-0 victory, will they be able to do the same today?

Montemurro said: "We are making sure we are attacking each game as it is.

“This amount of injuries we need to have a look at things, we need to look at everything and make sure we uncover what could be a problem.”

Hills said: "[Morgan’s] setback isn’t major, remember it’s only five months since she gave birth.

"We can hold any team it’s just the final bit of detail at the end of game, the concentration has to be key from minute one to the 90th."
