Atlanta Dream star Chennedy Carter set to be out for two weeks following ankle injury

Chennedy Carter is set to be miss around two weeks of the WNBA 2020 season after sustaining an ankle injury on August 10 against Connecticut Sun.

The 21 year-old rookie guard for Atlanta Dream played just over three minutes before she clashed with Sun center Brionna Jones.

The No 4 draft pick will miss six games of the 22-game regular season if she is out for the whole of August. 

Dream currently sit in fifth in the league and have won two out of their eight games so far and will next face Seattle Storm on August 13.

All the 2020 WNBA games are being played at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
