Valholla wrote on Twitter: "I’m at a loss for words. Don’t know what to say. Mimi (@demitrajade) was kind to everyone she came across. She was big dreamer and was a part of our Valholla family. I’m heartbroken by the news of her passing.

“I’m thankful I got to know, and work with her. My thoughts are with her family, loved ones, and friends. God gained another angel.”

Rapper Er305 paid tribute on social media, writing: "RIP @demitrajade. Gone way too soon. One of the kindest people I knew.

“Everytime we linked you made sure it was lit. Thank you for truly supporting my craft from day 1 before anyone believed. We’ll all miss you Mimi.”
