Beyonce has released a trailer for her film Black is King, which is being released on Disney+. 

The project is said to be about the promotion of 'the beauty of tradition and black excellence’, though little is known about the narrative of the film.

The movie will debut on the streaming site on July 31 and is a re-imagining of Disney’s The Lion King. All of Beyonce’s music from the 2019 live action remake, which she starred in, will feature.

The trailer describes the project as a ‘visual album’ and will star Naomi Campbell, Pharrell Williams, Kelly Rowland and Jay-Z.
