Michael Gove has today gone into self-isolation after a member of his family began to display symptoms of coronavirus.

Mr Gove, 52, Minister for the Cabinet office, is reported to be in good health himself and will continue his government work from isoaltion.

The news comes less than 24 hours after the Prime Minister was admitted to intensive care at St Thomas' hospital in London after his condition deteriorated.
