British Airways suspend all flights in and out of Gatwick Airport

British Airways are to suspend all flights in and out of London's Gatwick Airport due to the coronavirus crisis.

The airline have said they will contact customers to 'discuss their options'.

In a statement, BA said: "Due to the considerable restrictions and challenging market environment, like many other airlines, we will temporarily suspend our flying schedule at Gatwick."

They have followed suit from EasyJet who grounded all their planes yesterday, but will continue to work with the Government to operate 'rescue flights'.

And in yesterday's daily briefing at Downing Street Mr Raab said: "I can today announce a new arrangement between the Government and airlines to fly home tens of thousands of stranded British travellers, where commercial flights are no longer possible."

BA have said they will work with the Government during these 'unprecedented times'.

At Heathrow  flights are still running but on a reduced timetable.
