Tyson Fury’s undisputed heavyweight clash against Anthony Joshua will not take place in Britain, according to The Gypsy King’s promoter Frank Warren.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn revealed on Wednesday that the two teams had come to a ‘financial agreement’ for two fights, the first of which would take place in 2021.

The clash, which will take place if Fury beats Wilder in a trilogy bout and Joshua comes past Kubrat Pulev, would be the biggest fight in British boxing history.

However, Warren insists that while the fight involves two Brits, it is unlikely to take place in the UK.

Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: "The most important thing was the terms and the guys both wanted a two fight deal.

"That we got over the line and now we're in a position where we can all move forward together to make it happen.

"I'd love it to go on in the UK, I think we'd all like that. But I'm being very realistic. I do think it will happen abroad."

The money to stage the fight outside the UK in a territory such as the Middle East vastly outweighs the figure which would be on offer for an event at, for example, Wembley Stadium.

But regardless of where it is, Hearn feels fans should be positive about the fighters appearing to be on the right page when it comes to the money on offer.

"It's the biggest fight ever in British boxing. It doesn't get bigger, and there will never be a bigger fight in our generation," he said.

"Two guys, very different, who fight differently, have experienced different things and have come back from adversity."
