Charley Hull agonisingly close in LPGA Tour Championship but finishes runner-up by just one shot after amazing Kim Sei-young putt on 18th

Britain's Charley Hull shot a stunning final round six-under 66 but finished one-shot off South Korea's Kim Sei-young at the last LPGA event of the year.

The 23-year-old had not finished in the top 10 in any tournament since May, but found her form over the weekend in Florida with two rounds of 66.

2016 chamption Hull came home with birdies on 16, 17 and 18 to finish 17 under and looked set for a play-off against overnight leader Kim, who had led from day one.

Unfortunately for Hull, Kim found a putt on the final green sinking a staggering 25-foot birdie to take her to 18 under and claim her 10th tour victory plus a $1.5million top-up on her bank balance.

Fellow Brit, Georgia Hall ended up joint 11th at 11 under following a final round of 68, one stroke ahead of compatriot Bronte Law. who shot a 71.
