Dallas Cowboys' Dak Prescott pledges $1m to improve policing in US

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has pledged $1m to 'improve police training and address systemic racism' in the US.

The NFL star announced the news as protests continue across the US and the rest of the world following the death of George Floyd.

The 26 year-old wrote on Instagram: "As a black multi-racial American, I am disgusted and unsettled.

"As our communities take action, protesting and fighting for the justice of George Floyd and every black life, I am with you!

"We will clean our streets and our communities not only of the looting and violence, but most importantly the racism, racial-profiling and hate.

“I plan to take action and pledge $1,000,000 to improve our police training and address our systemic racism through education and advocacy in our country.”
