David Beckham has taken his family to see his newly-built Inter Miami football stadium after the side's first home game against LA Galaxy was called off due to the coronavirus.

The game was postponed after the Major League Soccer announced on Thursday that all games were being suspended for 30 days.

His wife Victoria took to social media to share a video of David and their children Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and Harper Seven at the ground.

And it featured a Spice Girls song blaring in the empty 19,000 seat stadium.

David wrote on social media: "It’s times like these when we are reminded of the things that are truly important in life.

"Our health, our loved ones and looking after those that need support in our communities. In these moments, sport takes a back seat. We must all listen to expert advice and do the right thing. Stay safe and look out for yourselves and your families."
