Eight-months-pregnant British YouTube star Nicole Thea dies aged 24, along with her unborn son Reign

YouTube star Nicole Thea has died at the age of 24, along with her unborn son Reign. 

The news was announced via her Instagram page on Sunday by her mother. 

Thea was best known for her dance videos and hair tutorials and had 84,000 subscribers on YouTube and 156,000 followers on Instagram. 

She was just weeks away from her due date and leaves behind her partner and father to her unborn baby, street dancer Global Boga, whose real name is Jeffery Frimpon.

Her mother wrote: “To all Nicole’s friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning.

"As a family we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened.

“Thank you, her mum. RIP My beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven.”

Her last YouTube video was posted minutes before her death was announced.

She added: “Also Nicole pre-schedule a few YouTube videos and Boga has made the decision to allow them to be aired.”

The cause of death has not been announced. 

Fans have flooded social media with tributes to Thea, as one wrote: “R.I.P such a beautiful soul gone too soon. Prayers & condolences to your family and I hope god can see you through this time.”

Another said: “Such an amazing soul, my heart hasn’t rested. You will be more than missed.”

One fan added: “Praying for you and your family Nicole. We will miss you.”

Another said: “May your souls rest in perfect peace.”
