Elon Musk re-considering support for Kanye West’s presidential campaign due to ‘differences of opinion'

Business tycoon Elon Musk is re-considering his support for Kanye West’s presidential campaign after ‘differences of opinion’.

West shocked people earlier this month by announcing he would be running for the Oval Office in the election later this year.

And he had initially been endorsed by Musk, with the Tesla entrepreneur taking to Twitter to say: “ You have my full support!"

But since then West has come under fire for being ‘anti-vaccine’ and ‘pro-life’.

The rapper described vaccinations as a ‘mark of the beast’ and said that he was anti-abortion because he was ‘following the word of the bible’.

The controversial remarks have now led to Musk pulling back in his support for West.

He said: "We may have more differences of opinion than I anticipated."

Some have speculated West’s presidential push is merely a publicity stunt as he has new music coming out.

The first single - ‘Wash Us in the Blood’ - off his upcoming album ‘God’s Country’ was released at the end of June and received positive reviews.

The 2020 US Presidential Election is scheduled for November 3, with current president Donald Trump coming up against Democratic candidate Joe Biden.
