Everything you need to know about Chelsea and Man Utd's huge clash in the Women's Super League this weekend

This week we are previewing one Women's Super League game each day as part of Women's Football Weekend which kicks off this Sunday.

Yesterday, we looked at Brighton and Hove Albion vs Birmingham City and next up we are previewing Chelsea vs Manchester United.

Chelsea vs Manchester United

United boss Casey Stoney will be hoping her side can maintain their winning streak of three league victories in a row when they face top-of-the-league Chelsea on Sunday.

It is the first time the two sides will play each other in the league as United were promoted from the Championship last season.

The Red Devils started their first ever top-flight campaign shakily with two narrow losses against Manchester City and Arsenal.

However, they got their season back on track with a 2-0 win over Liverpool and since then have found some good form in the WSL.

Meanwhile, The Blues are yet to lose a match in the league having won four and drawn one, dropping points only to Brighton.

The club's head coach Emma Hayes also won manager of the month in October.

Lauren James is one of the women to watch for United after she scored their first goal in the WSL against Liverpool the day before her 18th birthday.

Although the teenage forward was sent off in The Red Devils 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur after receiving two yellow cards, so she will need to watch her temperament

Keeper Mary Earps has also been a key player for the newly-promoted outfit as she has been making some unbelievable saves this season, most notably against last season's champions Arsenal when she kept her team in the game.

At Chelsea, Beth England has scored two goals this season, the stand out being the stunning strike on the opening day of the WSL against Spurs.

England has a 56% shooting accuracy from the five games she has starred in this season, with nine shots on target.

United are travelling to Kingsmeadow this Sunday for a kick off time of 2pm. The match will be available to watch on the BBC Red Button and on the FA Player app.
