Italian club Fiorentina have signed Republic of Ireland international Louise Quinn on a one-year deal.

Quinn is joining from Women’s Super League side Arsenal who released her earlier this summer.

She won the domestic title in 2019 and the Continental Cup in 2018 during her three years at the club.

She scored seven goals in 76 appearances for the Gunners.

She tweeted about her signing: “It is so so good to now say that I am officially a Fiorentina player!! Let's do this!”

Alongside playing the upcoming season in the Serie A, Quinn will be part of Ireland’s squad competing for a spot in the Euros.

The side have three qualifiers left to play. They have two matches against Germany and one against Ukraine.
