Former tennis World No 2 Agnieszka Radwanska has announced the birth of her son Jakub.

The 31 year-old Polish star, who retired in 2018 after winning 20 WTA titles, revealed her pregnancy in January.

Her husband Dawid Celt was the first to share the news on social media. 

Celt, who was also Radwanska’s hitting partner during her career, wrote on Twitter: “Jakub is already with us.”

She later added: “The time has come for a new stage in life.”

Radwanska’s sister Urszula, who is currently world No 266, congratulated the couple, saying: “I became an aunt. Congratulations to the parents.”

Tennis star Kristina Mladenovic said: “Congratulations.”

While former world No 5 Daniela Hantuchova added: “Congratsssss partner.”
