Lindsay Agnew signs loan deal for Swedish side KIF Örebro from NWSL club North Carolina Courage

North Carolina Courage defender Lindsay Agnew has signed a loan deal with Swedish club KIF Örebro to see out the Damallsvenskan season.

Agnew signed a one-year deal with an option for a further year for Courage in June prior to the National Women’s Soccer League Challenge Cup.

She played nine minutes of Courage’s match against Sky Blue FC on July 13. The club were knocked out of the tournament in the quarter-finals by Portland Thorns FC.

The Canadian international, who represented her country in the 2019 World Cup, will play in Europe for the first time in her career.

KIF Örebro are currently sat in ninth place in the Swedish league which ends in November.
