42 min: CHANCE! Stanway and Walsh continue to battle it out after Bronze makes a perfect pass down the middle for Stanway to pick up and get the opener. But Walsh gets in the way. 

44 min: A frustrating half so far for City, who were only beaten by Chelsea and Arsenal last season. 

The side haven’t been able to bag a goal! It will be interesting to hear what boss Gareth Taylor has to say to his squad in the changing rooms. 

45 min + 2: However a positive half for Brighton who are certainly not looking weak compared to City.

47 min: CHANCE! White makes a perfect run away from Brighton’s defence but she shoots wide and fails to open up her new account in this season’s campaign.

53 min: Brighton are looking extremely strong in defence here as City struggle to threaten the penalty spot.
