2021 Rugby World Cup draw: LIVE

The 2021 Rugby World Cup draw takes place this evening to see which pools each country will be placed in for the tournament.

The draw will start at 6.30pm. The countries have been split into bands according to world rankings so the four pools have a distribution of rankings within them.

NZ will be in pool A and we are about to find out who is joining them

First draw

Pool A: NZ, final qualification winner

Pool B: Asia 1

Pool C: Fiji

Second and third draw

Pool A: NZ, final qualification winner, Wales, Australia

Pool B: Asia 1, USA, Europe 1

Pool C: Fiji, France

Final draw!

Pool A: NZ, Australia, Wales, Final qualification winner

Pool B: Canada, USA, Europe 1, Asia 1

Pool C: England, France, South Africa, Fiji

Analysis

Pool A’s interesting match will be between New Zealand and Australia.

Pool B will see a rivalry between Canada and USA

And Pool C will see England and France face off!
