58 min: Getting a little scrappy here as United struggle to pick the Spurs lock. Have to praise the home side’s ability to frustrate a team with the firepower of Manchester United.

59 min: YELLOW! Spurs defender Neville goes in the book for a challenge on Galton. Heath actually had an advantage there as the ball ran through but the referee brought the play back.

The free-kick comes in from Heath from the left-hand side… it’s played short to Galton and the cross is headed behind by Addison for a corner.

60 min: The corner is swung into the middle by Heath and headed over by Millie Turner. Another chance goes begging for the visitors.

63 min: The second half has been flat so far with very few clear openings. You do feel the longer it stays goalless the more it could favour Spurs to steal a victory.

63 min: SUB! Ayane is off for Spurs and replace by their top scorer last season in Rianna Dean.

65 min: Zelem plays a terrific reverse pass into Heath. The American takes aim on the left-hand side of the area but Neville blocks superbly. The corner then comes in but Spurs win a foul after it’s cleared.

67 min: GOAL! Moments after Russo wastes another great opportunity, Turner loops a great header in from the corner! Deadlock broken!

69 min: Worth noting that just moments before the goal Russo went for goal herself when she could have played in Heath for a simple finish. Russo took the shot on and Spencer made the save. Safe to say heath was not best pleased.

70 min: Spurs HAVE to come out and commit more players forward now, no good sitting back and taking a narrow defeat.
