48 min: Le Sommer is found 20 yards from goal and her curling effort is tipped away by Abt. So much space for Lyon now as Wolfsburg try to get back into the game.

46 min: Here we go then with the second half. Lyon are 45 minutes away from a fifth straight Champions League title.

HALF-TIME: That’s the break and Lyon could not be more in control. Right from the very first minute they have dominated this game.

Is there any way back for Wolfsburg?

45 min: Wolfsburg are nearly caught out again by Cascarino as Lyon get players over on the right-hand side.

She tries to cut back inside and is swarmed just at the wrong time as Wolfsburg do enough to clear away.

44 min: GOAL! Kumagai with an absolutely superb strike!

Cascarino does excellently to work the ball out of the corner, drifting pass two Wolfsburg defenders before clipping the ball into the box.

Le Sommer can’t quite find a way through when it drops to her, but it comes out to Kumagai on the edge of the box and she hits a sensational low drive past Abt and into the bottom right corner.

43 min: A really poor ball over the top from Janssen is easily gathered by Bouhaddi. She’s not had a great half, the Wolfsburg full-back.

40 min: YELLOW! Marozsan is in the book now for a late challenge on Popp.

39 min: The ball falls to Maroszan inside the Wolfsburg penalty area but she fails to get over it and slices it high and wide.

Think both sides are cautiously remaining tight at the end of this first half, not wanting to give anything away.

36 min: Corner comes in but it’s deal with by Abt. Wolfsburg try and break but it comes to nothing. You can imagine the Germans will take going in at half-time just one goal down right now.

34 min: Cascarino is the biggest threat of this game so far, she really is tearing Janssen apart here.

Again she gets to the byline and stands up a cross but it’s cleared away for a corner.
