To sum up, Hemp is off for Janine Beckie, City had a goal rightly disallowed and Kerr just missed a close range header.

22 min: CHANCE! Georgia Stanway brings the ball down on the edge of the box and rifles in a superb effort towards the top corner which is parried and eventually held by Berger.

19 min: Kirby fouled as Chelsea look to take control of this game. A little bit niggly in the last few minutes as the zip and flow of the game is lost somewhat.

Emma Hayes’ side look the more likely to score but City do seem promising on the break.

It looks like an open game but one which involves two defensively sound teams.
