Louise Quinn leaves Arsenal

Republic of Ireland defender Louise Quinn is leaving Women’s Super League side Arsenal.

She joined from Notts County back in 2017 and has scored seven goals in 76 appearances for the club.

In her three years with the Gunners, Quinn has won the 2018 Continental Cup and the 2019 WSL title.

In a statement, the club said: "Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Louise for her contribution to the team’s success, and for her exceptional professionalism and commitment to the club."

Quinn’s career at Arsenal has come to an abrupt end as the WSL was cancelled on May 25.

The final placings were announced by the Football Association today with Arsenal finishing third. Chelsea leapfrogged Manchester City to claim the title and Liverpool were relegated based on a points per game system.
