Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has hit out at trolls who branded her ‘lardy’ and said she needed to ‘go on a diet’ after new bikini pictures of her emerged.

Hague was made aware of the comments after a fan screenshot them and posted them to Twitter to defend the reality TV star, writing: “These comments are so vile. ‘Awful’ and ‘lardy’ is apparently how to describe a normal womans body??”

Hague retweeted the fan and commented: “I would genuinely love to know who writes these comments? Like how can you actually write s*** like that and sleep at night? Beyond me”

The pictures were taken of Hague in Ibiza where she is currently holidaying with boyfriend Tommy Fury whom she met on the ITV2 show.

Some of her Love Island cast mates also defended her. 

2019 Winner Amber Gill wrote: “They're actually fu***** weirdos man like who in their right mind would even go to the comment section to say ANYTHING you have a lush body and tbh I'd love to see what they look like [sic]”

While Maura Higgins said: “BE F******* KIND!!!!! How many times do we have to say this??”
