Love Island’s Ovie Soko to release self-help book

Love Island star and basketball player Ovie Soko has revealed he is releasing a self-help book this October.

Soko, one of the stand out names of the 2019 summer edition of the ITV2 reality show, also revealed the title of the book which is ‘You Are Dope’.

He wrote on Instagram: "I’m very excited to reveal the cover of my book “YOU ARE DOPE”, a self help book with a little bit about me , but more about you.

"I’m so excited and happy to have been able to put this together along with the amazing support of @quadrillebooks.

“This is a time that I did not know we would be in when I started the book, as far as a global awakening and pandemic, but I really feel like there is a lot of things that we all need to be constantly reminded of in regards to how we value ourselves, our time, and our lives. I hope you like the cover."

And while many former Love Island contestants concentrate on sponsorship deals in the aftermath of the show, Soko has been focusing on sport.

He signed a contract with basketball team London Lions last November and he has been working with Sky Sports, mainly as a National Basketball Association analyst.

He reached the final of Love Island last year with then partner India Reynolds.

The pair came third and fans hoped they would stay together but they broke up three months after the conclusion of the show.
