Mickey Rourke hits out at ‘f****** crybaby’ Robert De Niro over The Irishman spat

Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke has launched an incredible rant at Robert De Niro calling him a 'f****** crybaby’.

The spat comes after Rourke revealed director Martin Scorsese wanted to meet with him to discuss a part in his latest movie The Irishman, but claims the offer was rescinded after De Niro insisted he did not want to work with him.

De Niro’s team then subsequently came out to quash those allegations by saying Rourke was ‘never asked to be in The Irishman nor was he ever even thought of, discussed or considered to be in the movie’.

Those comments angered Rourke and now The Wrestler actor has fired back on social media.

He said: "Hey Robert De Niro, that’s right i am talking to you, you big f****** crybaby.

"A friend of mine just recently told me that a few months back you’re quoted as saying to newspapers ‘Mickey Rourke’s a liar he talks all kind of s***’.

"Listen Mr. Tough Guy in the movies, you’re the 1st person that ever called me a liar and it was in a newspaper.

"Let me tell you something, you punk a**, when i see you i swear to God on my Grandmother, on my brother and all my dogs, I gonna embarrass you severely 100%. Mickey Rourke ‘as God is my witness’."

De Niro is yet to respond to Rourke’s outburst.

The Irishman, which is a three and a half hour extravaganza, was nominated for ten awards at this year’s Oscars, although it did not win any.
