The NWSL Fall Series match between Portland Thorns FC and OL Reign has been postponed due to poor air quality caused by wildfires.

The game was scheduled to take place on Saturday and was due to be televised by CBS, but it will now take place on September 15 with a kick off time of 10pm and will be available to stream on Twitch.

As CBS are aiming to show one NWSL match a weekend they will air North Carolina Courage’s match against Houston Dash.

This game has been moved from Friday to Saturday to fit into the TV channel’s schedule and so will now kick off at 3.30pm on September 12.

Washington Spirit v Chicago Red Stars will kick off as planned on September 12 at 12pm and will be available on Twitch.

So far in the Fall Series Sky Blue FC have picked up a 2-1 win over Spirit.
