Goalkeeper Pauline Peyraud-Magnin will leave Women’s Super League club Arsenal as her contract has expired.

The French international signed for the Gunners in 2018 from Lyon and has made 26 appearances across all competitions for the club.

She was part of the squad which won the WSL in the 2018/19 season.

In a statement the club said: "Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Pauline for her contribution to the team’s success, and for her exceptional professionalism and commitment to the club."

And she tweeted: "Thank you for everything @ArsenalWFC. I will miss the Arsenal family."

Her time at the club ended with her helping Arsenal to a third-place finish in the WSL this season. 

The Football Association announced the final placings last Friday as they used a points per game system after the league was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
