Women’s Super League club Everton have signed left-back Poppy Pattinson on a two-year deal.

Pattinson announced her departure from fellow WSL side Bristol City last month at the end of her contract.

She has also previously played for Manchester City and Sunderland.

She tweeted about her new club: “Absolutely delighted to be joining @EvertonWomen. A club with huge ambitions that match my own and I am excited to start the next chapter of my journey working together with this team. #COYB #upthetoffs”

And Everton captain Danielle Turner wrote: "Welcome to the Toffees @poppypattinson3"
