British singer Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn are expecting their first child together later this summer. 

Sheeran, 29, and Seaborn, 28, met during school and have been dating for five years before getting married in January 2019.

The pair have managed to keep the pregnancy quiet over coronavirus lockdown but have now started to tell ‘family and friends’.

“Ed and Cherry are over the moon. They’re very excited, but have kept things very low key," a source told The Sun.

"They’re just making the last of the preparations at home, and the baby is expected later this summer.

“It’s a really happy time and their families are all totally delighted for them and cannot wait to meet the new arrival.”

It comes after the successful four-time Grammy winner Sheeran announced he was taking an extended break at the end of last year to focus on his personal life.
