US soccer player Christen Press scored the first goal against England last night in the SheBelieves Cup and it was a stunner.

England's defenders backed off allowing Press to curl a beauty into the far corner beyond Carly Telford.

Press' goal was her 57th in 136 appearances for the national side.

Just two minutes later, US legend Carli Lloyd hit the second to secure the hosts the victory.

England will now try to turn round their campaign with their match against Japan while the US will face Spain. Both games will be played on Sunday.
