Women’s FA Cup Final: Everton 1-3 Manchester City - Holders defend FA Cup in thrilling game
Six months after the original date for the final, Willie Kirk’s Toffees will be looking to dethrone Gareth Taylor’s defending champions in what would be their first FA Cup triumph in a decade.
Meanwhile, City are bidding to lift the trophy for a third time in four years and would move level with Charlton as the fourth most successful team in the competition’s history with a win.

114 min: The game is so stretched now as Everton press up the pitch looking for an equaliser but are caught on the break. Kelly cuts in on the left side of the penalty area but Moe Wold does well to block.

If that does win Manchester City the FA Cup then it’s a great goal to do so. Park picks up the ball from Bronze and drives towards the penalty area. She slides in Stanway and the England striker gets there before MacIver to poke the ball in at the near post. It’s off the inside of the woodwork and squeezes in.

108 min: I think the players have had to have a breather of their own because this is all just too much.
If Manchester City do not win this they will be kicking themselves until the cows come home.
If Everton win this they will have to dedicate a stand to Sandy MacIver. She has been phenomenal.

Weir slides Stanway in and she gets goal side of her marker. MacIver comes out but she can’t reach the ball as Stanway goes past her only for Finnigan to track back and clear away before she can put it into an empty net!

104 min: City continue to pour forward in numbers. Weir lays it off for Stanway and her shot deflects behind for another corner.
Greenwood aims for the near post but it’s cleared. Greenwood sends it back in, it’s a good delivery but no City player is there to turn it goalwards and eventually it finds its way back to MacIver.

102 min: Mewis is at the centre of everything now as she tries to feed Park but Turner is back there to clear away for Everton. All hands to the pump for the Toffees.
