WWE star Lana’s mum rushed to hospital with breathing difficulties due to coronavirus

WWE wrestler Lana has asked fans to send her mum prayers after she was rushed to hospital with breathing difficulties as a result of coronavirus.

Lana, whose real name is CJ Perry, took to social media to update her followers on her mother’s condition.

She initially wrote: “Please keep my Mom in your thoughts and prayers. She can’t breathe and is heading into the ER right now”

And later tweeted: “My mom tested positive for covid. She is in the ICU right now. She is asthmatic and is on oxygen. Thank you for all the thoughts & prayers.”

Stars within the sport have sent her messages of support.

Peyton Royce said: "Hope she’s ok!!”

While Billie Kay wrote: “I’m so sorry babe. Sending prayers & love her way.”

And Natalya Neidhart tweeted: "Prayers up... I’m thinking of your Mom"

Lana has worked with Natalya in WWE recently. Her storyline has been based around her marriage to Bobby Lashley and her divorce from Rusev.

Rusev and Lana have remained together in real life and he recently lost his job within the sport as a result of the pandemic.

He was a part of Vince McMahon’s company who have been cutting staff after being financially affected by the circumstances.

And according to reports 30 people in WWE have tested positive for the disease, though Ric Flair has insisted the sport is safe
