Kanye West vows to get Taylor Swift’s master recordings back to her

Rapper Kanye West has revealed he is trying to get Taylor Swift’s master recordings back to her as he continues his assault on rights problems in the music industry.

Swift lost ownership of the recordings after Scooter Braun purchased her old label Big Machine Records back in 2019.

West and Swift have been friendly for a number of years (EMPICS Entertainment)

But West has now come out and insisted he is good friends with Braun and believes he could help Swift reclaim the content.

He said: "I’M GOING TO PERSONALLY SEE TO IT THAT TAYLOR SWIFT  GETS HER MASTERS BACK.   SCOOTER IS A CLOSE FAMILY FRIEND."

He then went on to discuss the wider problems in the music industry and how artists are suffering as a result.

He added: "WE’RE GOING TO MOVE THE ENTIRE MUSIC INDUSTRY INTO THE 21ST CENTURY."

And then he posted a third tweet saying: "WE’RE GONIG TO TRANSPARENTLY CHANGE EVERY ALBUM DEAL EVERY PUBLISHING DEAL EVERY MERCH DEAL EVERY TOURING DEAL EXCEPT FOR DRAKE’S DEALS.

"JUST KIDDING ... I LOVE DRAKE TOO ... ALL ARTIST MUST BE FREE."

Earlier this week, West was temporarily locked out of his Twitter account after he posted the phone number of Forbes editor Randall Lane.

He has also caught the headlines recently for his failing US election campaign which appears to be dwindling into obscurity as we head into the final six weeks until polling day.
