Scunthorpe have signed midfielder Jake Taylor on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest.

The 22-year-old impressed during a temporary spell at Port Vale last season, scoring five goals in 18 Sky Bet League Two matches.

Taylor was on the scoresheet for the Valiants in Scunthorpe’s 2-1 win at Glanford Park.
