Sheffield Wednesday boss Garry Monk has added James Beattie and Darryl Flahavan to his backroom staff after they left Birmingham earlier this week.

The duo were part of Monk’s team during his time at St Andrew’s, while Andrew Hughes has also been brought in.

Beattie will be Monk’s assistant, Flahavan comes in as goalkeeping coach and Hughes, who was most recently an Under-23 coach at Sheffield United, is a first-team coach.
