Mark Robson returns to Peterborough as assistant manager

Mark Robson has returned to Peterborough as assistant to manager Darren Ferguson.

Robson, who had been working for the Football Association, replaces Gavin Strachan, who left to become a first-team coach at Celtic last month.

The 51-year-old worked at London Road for two successful seasons between 2010 and 2012 and is delighted to link-up with Ferguson once again.

“It is great to be back,” Robson told the club’s official website. “I have some really good memories of working at the club and there are still quite a few familiar faces including of course the chairman, who I want to thank for granting me this opportunity to come back to a club where we enjoyed success.

“During my two years at the club we got promoted to the Championship and stayed in the Championship the first year so that would be great if we can do that again.”
