World heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has revealed he once sparred Tyson Fury for a Rolex watch.

The 30-year-old Brit was an amateur at the time and didn't even know who Fury was, around the time the 'Gypsy King' won the English heavyweight title. 

Joshua told Sky Sports: "I was reading in Boxing News he was going around London gyms asking if anyone knocks him out they get to keep his Rolex.

"Me and him had a straight war. We both have heart.

"I didn't get to knock him out. He said afterwards, 'Watch out for this kid, he will be champion of the world one day'.

"And he got his prediction right."

Joshua's next bout will be against Kubrat Pulev, which was scheduled to take place in June at Tottenham Hotspurs stadium but it has now been postponed, with the new date yet to be announced.
