Aston Villa v Manchester United: Time, channel, live stream and team news of huge Premier League clash

Aston Villa and Manchester United face off on Thursday evening in one of the biggest games in both clubs seasons.

The home side are currently four points adrift of safety with just five games remaining following Watford’s win against Norwich on Tuesday.

A victory for Dean Smith’s side would put them on 30 points, just one win from moving above Watford and out of danger.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskajer’s United team have picked up seven points from a possible nine since the coronavirus pandemic halted the season.

An entertaining 5-2 thrashing of Bournemouth last time out will bode well for his side’s confidence as they look to move within a point of Leicester in fourth.

Team News

Defender Tyrone Mings and midfielder Jack Grealish both suffered knocks in their defeat to Liverpool, but both are expected to make a full recovery in time.

However, full-back Matt Targett is still out with a hamstring injury.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer only has one first team injury concern heading into the match in the shape of Victor Lindelof.

The Swedish centre-back came off at half-time against Bournemouth on Saturday, but could still be available for selection.
