England rugby star Jonny May re-signs for boyhood club Gloucester

England rugby star Jonny May is returning to his boyhood club Gloucester at the end of the season.

May moved to fellow Premiership side Leicester Tigers in 2017 after playing for the Cherry and Whites for eight years where he earned 121 caps.

Gloucester announced the news on Twitter with a Jurassic Park- themed video. They used the clip from the film where the characters are seeing the park for the first time and captioned it '#ComingHolm'.

The 30 year-old will add to Gloucester's impressive list of wingers including Louis Rees-Zammit, Ollie Thorley, Matt Banahan, Tom Hudson and Charlie Sharples.

May said: "Once I had made the decision to leave Leicester there was only ever one club I really wanted to play for.

"I'm grateful to David Humphreys and everyone at Gloucester Rugby who have found a way for me to rejoin.

"I've very excited about being back in Cherry and White playing at Kingsholm again."
