Fleetwood goalkeeper Alex Cairns has signed a contract extension with the Sky Bet League One club.

The 28-year-old has made more than 180 appearances for the Cod Army, including 24 starts during the current campaign.

Doncaster-born Cairns, who has kept clean sheets in four of the last five games, will remain at the club until the summer of 2023.
