Fleetwood have signed defender Tom Edwards on a season-long loan from Stoke.

The 21-year-old full-back played for Stoke in the Premier League, making his debut against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in October 2017.

Edwards has made 44 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship for Stoke over the past two seasons and has been capped at England Under-20 level.
