Salford have signed experienced midfielder George Boyd on a deal until the end of the season.

Peterborough announced Boyd’s departure due to salary cap regulations last month and the 35-year-old has now joined the Ammies.

Boyd, who played for Hull and Burnley in the Premier League, is eligible for Salford’s clash with Cambridge on Tuesday night.
