Mansfield have strengthened their goalkeeping department with the addition of Wolves youngster Jamie Pardington.

The 20-year-old, who has worked alongside Rui Patricio and John Ruddy at Molineux, has joined the Sky Bet League Two club for the rest of the season.

Mansfield manager Nigel Clough said: “We wanted another goalkeeper to come in to give us some cover and Jamie fits the bill.

“We don’t have anyone between Aidan Stone and 17-year-old goalkeeper Maison Campbell.

“We needed someone in that age bracket to come in and train with the first team and we’re pleased to have Jamie on board.”
