Wigan defender Patrick Webber has left the club after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.

The 21-year-old joined Latics from Ipswich in 2019 and made his debut last November against Tranmere in the Papa John’s Trophy.

A club statement said: “We would like to thank Patrick for his efforts during the last 18 months and we wish him well in the future.
